To the Editors of the Crimson:

Since the Holyoke Center is crumbling away after only 15 years, and thousands are being expended to repair its bleak, Brutalist facade, it occurs to me that the University, in all its puissance, has a felicitious opportunity to join the M.B.T.A. in upgrading Harvard Square: why not construct a massive neo-Georgian veneer over the building to conceal forever the cold concrete and steel form that is so reminiscent of the very worst of post-war Britain.
