Vice President Bush will be the official U.S. representative at the opening of the Olympic soccer competition at Harvard aid Stadium.
Bush's acceptance of the invitation to the July 29 ceremonies apparently came after his secret service office decided they would be able to maintain security at the stadium.
Harvard officials in the police department and the University Marshall's office have only been informed recently that Bush is coming and have not released any details on added security or the Vice President's schedule at Harvard.
