City Manager Submits Budget

Saying Cambridge officials, employees, and citizens deserved to be proud of their city's fiscal state, City Manager Robert W. Healy last night presented his proposed $159 million budget for 1984-85 to the Cambridge City Council.

Healy said that, for the first time since voters approved the tax-cutting measure Proposition 2 1/2 in 1980, Cambridge complies with its stringent limitations on the city budget.
