To the Editors of the Crimson:

Response wishes to inform the Harvard community that it is absolutely against our policy for Response or its staffers to release any information about specific calls we may receive or about any counseling conversations we may have. Each semester Response releases several general statistics: total number of calls received during the past semester, total number of counseling calls received during that period, total number of informational calls during that period. We also inform those who ask about the issues raised in counseling calls that those issues range from obscene phone calls to peer harassment to rape. This is al that Response is at liberty to release become we promise complete confidentiality to those who contact us. Elisabeth Simmons '86   Co-director   Response
