Crimson Photographer Arraigned

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A Crimson photographer pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of trespassing on the property of the Pi Eta Speakers Club.

Gilad Y Ohana '85, the Crimson's associate photography chairman, was arrested Saturday night while covering a demonstration outside the club. It is alleged that Ohana stepped off the Mt Auburn St. sidewalk to shoot a picture from the bottom of the club's front step.

May Date

At the arrangement of Middlesex County District Court a trial date was set for May 9.

The demonstration was staged by about 100 students protesting a club newsletter which referred to women as "pigs" and "slobbering bovines.

Ohana spent about an hour in jail at the Central Square police station before he was released after payment of a $15 bail charge.

Ohana has said he will contest the charges.
