The Harvard men's volleyball team took its victorious show on the road this weekend only to return to defeat at home.
The spikers took on Yale and Robert Morris in separate contests Saturday, and defeated the Elis, 15-9, 15-4, 12-15, 15-9. Robert Morris fell six hours later, 15-3, 15-7, 11-15, 15-6.
But the streak snapped with the squad's return to the IAB. Despite strong play by senior Co-Captain Dave Twite and junior Mohan Nadkarni, a Crimson comeback attempt failed and Harvard fell to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, 15-8, 15-11, 9-15, 4-15, 15-8.
Harvard returns to the road next weekend, taking on Yale Friday and appearing in the East Coast Volleyball Open at Vassar on Saturday.
