There was nothing but bad news for the men's and women's fencing teams Saturday.

Both squads travelled to the University of Pennsylvania, only to lose, 21-6 and 15-1, respectively.

"We got blown out," said men's Captain felt Levy. "We were just off a loss to Columbia and from the emotional, mental side Penn completely dominated the event."

One positive note for the Crimson was freshman standout Jim O'Neill winning all three of his bouts.

"We fenced as well as we knew how," freshman Anita Hawkins said of the women. "The other teams just had better point control, and could use the weapons better."
