To the Editors of The Crimson:
It is common knowledge that there are professors at Harvard and at MIT who belong to the Communist Party.
Now I am one of those who feels that the Communist Party should absolutely be banned in the United States. And when I see posters scattered around Cambridge, which indicate that Harvard halls are being used for meetings of the "Spartacus Youth League," I wonder who on earth can give permission for this kind of thing.
I was disgusted, too, to read of the recent Harvard Law School welcome to members of the Sandinista government of Nicaragua--people who are, basically, far worse than the Somoza government they supplanted, tyrannical as it was.
What is happening to Harvard? This is a common question around Cambridge. Jerome Minot'46
