Truck-Taxi Crash Causes Fuel Spill

A truck cab skidded and broad-sided a taxi at yesterday afternoon on North Harvard St. outside the Business School Approximately 30 gallons of diesel fuel were spilled onto Anderson Road, which leads into the Business School, but on one was injured.

The truck driver, Robert P. Johnson of Allston, said. "An oil slick on the road caused my brakes to freeze," and made him slide across the road. A fuel drum under the cab was ruptured.

"I was shocked," said Johnson.

Three hours after the accident, the mess was all cleaned up, and rush hour traffic was snarled only briefly.
