Broadwell said his group is working quietly to reintroduce a gay nondiscrimination clause before the Faculty, a provision that was voted down in spring 1981. That proposal may be presented to the Faculty next year, he said, adding that a tenured professor--whom he refused to identify--is "interested" in sponsoring it.
Participants of yesterday's conference also discussed relations between the gay and lesbian communities on campus. Many lesbians have felt alienated from the GLSA which is predominantly male, speakers said.
A Radcliffe lesbian group which has been inactive for two yours is gearing up to most regularly, Jennifer Kapuscik '84, a GLSA member, said. Seventeen women turned out for the group's meeting last week, she added.
