The men's swimming team is in 15th place after the first of three days of the NCAA championships at Vanderbilt University.

Sophomore All American Dan Watson had the best Crimson performance at the competition yesterday nabbing 3rd place in the 1 meter diving Watson will attempt to equal or top that mark in the 3 meter today.

Harvard has an opportunity to match its best showing at the NCAA in 1979 when it finished 13th Southern Methodist University leads the championships after the first day.
