Spokesmen for a gay task force at Yale University are charging the Department of University Health (DUH) there with "negligence" and "sexual discrimination" in their policy which requires members to pay for vaccination against Hepatitis B. a disease that infects mainly hospital employees, gay males and drug addicts DUH offers the vaccine free of charge to it high-risk" employees, but at cost to other plan members.

Members of the group held a demonstration at the center of the university's campus earlier this month, and have sent complaints to Yale President A Bartlett Giamatti and the university's Sexual Harassment Grievance Board.

The gay health task force was formed last November to organize educational events and monitor DUH policies. Yale Daily News
