Inflation's bite hurts everyone, but inner city residents always seem to feel it the most. A Columbia student learned his lesson the hard way earlier this month--his cab drive, bit him on the cheek.

The student, who wished to remain unidentified, lost face at about 1 a.m. Monday in front of the campus main gates at Broadway and 116th Street, according to members of the Columbia Area Volunteer Ambulance (CAVA), which treated the cabbie-bite victim.

CAVA rushed the student, tongue in check, to city hospital by city ambulance. Columbia Daily Spectator. Feb 9.
