Women Fencers Split Bouts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The women's fencing team suffered the same results as the men, losing to a stronger Penn team, 11-5, yesterday, while easily defeating Brown on Saturday, 12-4.

"For this early in the season, we put up a very good fight," said Captain Vivi Fuchs, who, along with Alicia Downey, took two of her four bouts.

Fuchs and Robin Dorfman swept all four of their bouts against Brown.

The team's record is now 3-2. The fencers face Brandeis tomorrow.
