Boston University's rugby team knocked off Harvard's A squad Saturday on Soldiers Field to take the New England championship, 15-9.

Each team shut out the other during the half in which it had the wind at its back. Kevin Lennon's try and Mark Bamford's kick after and penalty kick cut into the Terriers' halftime lead, but not enough.

The ruggers take on McGill next week.
