Parker to Coach Olymplans

Harvard men's heavyweight crew Coach Harry Parker will be the head men's sculling coach for the U.S. Olympic team, the U.S. Rowing Association announced yesterday.

Parker has coached at Harvard since 1960 and has guided 12 national teams.

Parker won the men's single sculling event at the 1959 Pan American Games and placed fifth in the 1960 Olympics.
