Franck Johnson's three point field goal with three seconds remaining in the game climaxed a 26 point performance and gave the Washington Bullets a 103-102 victory over Boston last night at the Garden. The Celtics loss evened the National Basketball Association playoff series at one game each.

The Celtics led, 101-98, with only 1:06 to play after Nate Archilbald made one out of two free throws. But Boson was unable to recover from Johnson's connection when M L Carr missed a last second desperation jumper.
