Harvard hockey defeneman Mark Fusce was named over the weekend to the Division 1 East All-American team, selected by the American Hockey Coaches Association Fusco, a junior, also made the All-America team last season.

The award is especially satisfying for Fusco, who, after earning first team All-ECAC honors last year, was snubbed by the ECAC coaches this season and earned only a second-team berth.

Others selected to the All-America East had been first team All-ECAC selections: Goal--Brian Hayward, Cornell: Defense--Chris Renaud, Colgane; Forwards--Steve Cruickshank, Clarkson: Kirk McCaskill, Vermont; and Andy Brickley, New Hampshire.

one team in the nation and Harvard's opponent in the first round of the NCAA tournament this weekend, had two players selected to the West All-America squad--defenseman Bruce Driver and forward John Newbury.
