NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

NEW YORK--New York University (NYU) recently received a $7.5 million grant, the second largest donation in the school's history, to expand and renovate NYU's School of the Arts facility.

The School of the Arts will be renamed in honor of the donors. Laurence Tisch, chairman of NYU's board of trustees, and his brother, Preston Robert Tisch, who have both given money to the school in the past.

John Brademas, president of the university, in a letter called the donation the "cornerstone of a major campaign." An NYU press spokesman said the School of the Arts would soon begin raising further funds to "upgrade" itself.
