ITHACA. N.Y.--Cornell University recently became the first college in the country to have installed a fully automated credit-card photocopying system, according to the president of XPC Inc., the company that produces VendaCard copiers.

In addition to two copiers installed and two more planned, which accept special magnetic credit cards as well as money. Cornell also boasts a vending machine to sell the cards. There are only 181 copy machines in the country that the credit cards, according to the company.

More than 1000 people bought the cards in a two-week period at Cornell.
