Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
COSCORD. NH--Edger Berube, a former president of the New England College Student Senate, entered no plea yesterday at his arraignment on three charges of forging cheecks and one count of theft of services
Judge Michael Sullivan set a probable cause hearing for January 14 for Berube, 26, who had been sought for allegedly posing as the grandson of oil magnate Armand Hammer. He is accused of forging Hammer's name on a check
Berube is charged with forging three checks totaling $11.642 and writing a bad check to a Concord travel agency for $2,600 for airline tickets, court officials said.
Berube has served time in prison on his conviction in Strafford County on similar charges when he was at the University of New Hampshire in the late 1970s. Strafford County officials said Berube at that time created the impression he was related to the Kennedy family
