PHILADELPHIA "Halt increased Tuitions a University of Pennsylvania student group opposed to proposed tuition hikes, last month mailed about 2000 postcards to UPenn President Sheldon Hackney protesting the projected 12 percent increase in tuition next year.
One of the cards stated, "No one wants lowered standards of education, but then again, no one want to have to take correspondence courses." The Daily Pennsylvanian reported last month.
