By Compiled FROM College newspapers

ITHACA, N.Y.--Cornell University is currently changes in student eligibility for minority programs. The Cornell Daily Sun, the campus student news paper reported last month

The proposed charges Cornell Provost W. Keith Kennedy by the Vice Provost Larry I Lalmer--suggests clarifications of the definition of minorities. One of the polity changes would result in having Asian Americans removed from a list of underrepresented minority groups at Cornell.

Kennedy said the letter, which also proposes changes in minority admissions, expressed "one individual's thoughts" and represented "nothing official."
