Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
SILVER CITY, N.M.--John H. Snedeker, former president of Western New Mexico University, has recently been found guilty in state court of misusing university funds while president.
Snedeker, an avid gun collector, was convicted of using the money to buy large qualities of ammunition for his personal use. He was president of the male university from 1962 to 1980, when he resigned shortly before being indicted on the charges.
Following his conviction, he was also dismissed as a professor of education, the chronicle of higher Education reported this week.
