IAB Evacuation

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The IAB was evacuated last night after an anonymous bomb threat. Cambridge police arrived on the scene immediately and searched the athletic center, but found nothing.

IAB monitor Donald Fleming '82 said yesterday that a male "with a deep voice" phoned at 8:10 p.m. and told him, "There's a bomb in the building and it's going to blow up in two minutes."

After the seven minute police search, the approximately 50 freshmen intramural volleyball players were allowed to return to the building.
