Harvard Real Estate President Sally Zeckhauser will serve on the national board of Common Cause for the next three years, a spokesmen for the citizen's lobby announced yesterday.
"I appreciate effective government, and I've learned an awful lot about community relations lately," Zeckhauser said yesterday. "This is a time when government has to be accountable, what with money very tight," she added.
Zeckhauser, former director of administrative studies at the University, said she was most concerned with the issue of campaign finance. "The system may not be perfect currently, but we're miles from where we started," she said.
Archibald Cox '34, Loeb University Professor, chairs the 230,000 member public interest group.
