PHILADELPHIA--F. Sheldon Hackney, newly selected president of the University of Pennsylvania, probably will live on campus in Eisenlohr Hall, a 25-room mansion now being used as alumni center.
Trustee chairman Paul Miller said that despite the estimated $300,000 cost of renovating the building to make it a private residence, the project would be worthwhile because of the benefits of having the president live on campus.
