Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
With Tuesday night's 5-2 victory over Boston University history, the Harvard hockey team travels to upstate New York this weekend for two difficult contests. Tonight, the icemen face RPI in Troy, New York, and tomorrow they'll bus up the road to Hamilton for a game with highly-regarded Colgate.
Crimson forward Greg Britz, injured at Northeastern last week, will remain out of action for at least this weekend, and probably longer. His linemates, Rob Burns and Shayne Kukulowicz, were split up for Tuesday's contest, Burns playing with Rick Benson and Gary Martin, and freshman Kukulowicz on a line with Dave Connors and Jay North.
Sophomore Scott Sangster, who bruised an ankle in practice and wore a protective guard Tuesday, will play this weekend.
RPI is coming off an 8-6 victory at New Hampshire Tuesday. The squad boasts a formidable attack, led by Jacques de St. Phaille and Michel Deschenes, and the defense is anchored by goaltender Kevin Constantine.
The Crimson returns home Wednesday night for a 7:30 p.m. contest against New Hampshire's Wildcats.
Harvard is currently 2-1 in the ECAC with the victory over the Terriers and a 5-3 decision over Brown offset by an 11-5 loss to Northeastern.
