Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Matthew Strominger '79-3 died Sunday in a mountain climbing accident near Mt. Baker in Washington. He was 22 years old.
Strominger, a resident of Currier House, has a year to go before his graduation from Harvard, having taken time off after his junior year. He is the son of Anne and Jack L. Strominger, professor of Biochemistry.
Strominger reportedly dell to his death when a mountain ledge on which he was standing collapsed. No one else was hurt in the accident.
Strominger is survived by his mother, father and three brothers.
He attended Cambridge School in Weston. Mass. before coming to Harvard. where he played on the cross-country ski team and photographed for The Crimson. He planned to attend medical school after graduating from Harvard.
Funeral plans are indefinite at this time. A memorial service in likely this fall, when many of Strominger's friends return to Harvard.
