William Perry, longtime director of the Bureau of Study Counsel, won't be back on Linden St. next year. In his more than 20 years behind the chief counselor's desk, Perry revolutionized the concept of academic affairs counseling and turned Harvard's Bureau into a model for other schools. He also made more than a few friends along the way.
