The Harvard women's track team closed out its indoor season at this weekend's Eastern AIAW Championships held at Princeton's Jadwyn Gym. The Crimson gathered four points, finishing far behind the victorious Terrapins of Maryland.

In the two-mile relay event, the women set a new school record, finishing seventh at the meet with a time of 9:26.3 to eclipse the mark they set last year at the Easterns, when they placed fifth in 9:39. "That just shows you how much the competition has improved," coach Pappy Hunt said last night.

Kimberly Johnson garnered fourth-place honors in the shot put, winging it 43-ft. 9 1/2-in. to equal her own Harvard record.
