Watch Out: One More (Stanley Cup) Final to Go

By Jim Hershberg

Enjoying your finals so far? Psyched for Ec 10 today? Just remembered that the two-week extension on your term paper expires tomorrow? Well, life is tough. And so, hockey junkies, is this specially prepared mass of trivia. Sure, there are a few easy ones, just to give the fringe fans some cheap, undeserved thrills. But we know better. Let those "acquainted" with the sport get lulled into complacency by the pee-wee league questions...and then get crushed when Judgment Day comes and they can't even tell you that Harvey "Busher" Jackson led the league in scoring in 1932. But not us.

We'll take the hard stuff, right between the livers.

So slip into your Jofa helmet and sharpen your Koho stick. Face-off time is nigh approaching. At the Forum, Roget Doucet is singing "Oh, Canada," and we can hear him. Screw the blue books, it's blue line time. The referee is an Islander fan, but any hockey esoterica is fair game.

Sorry, back issues of The Hockey News will not be on file at Lamont. You will have three hours. You may begin now.
