Prospective young theologians at the Divinity School will have a new dean next year: George E. Rupp, a 36-year-old minister and author. Rupp replaces Krister Stendahl, who headed the school for 11 years.

Winthrop House will also receive new blood in the form of new co-masters James A. and Martha J. Davis. The Davises say they accepted the job because they miss having children around the house.
