Out of Town News Sells Second Run Of 'Not The Times'

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Not The New York Times--a parody of the "Gray Lady" of American journalism--might rival its model in sales at Harvard Square.

Out of Town News sold out its copies "in about an hour," Peter P. Itrato, Out of Town newsvendor, said yesterday.

Harvard students and professors lined up to sign a waiting list yesterday at Out of Town News for copies of the second printing.

Out of Town News received 200 copies of the parody Monday, and 100 Wednesday, Itrato said.

Itrato added that he could sell as many copies of the parody as the distributors could give them.

Fred Cohen, Out of Town News manager, said he would get another shipment of the paper, which is going into its second printing, Monday.

George Fielding, a worker at Nini's Corner, said he sold around 400 of the papers, 350 of them in five hours. Nini's will also receive another shipment Monday.
