There will be an open memorial service on Tuesday for Richard H. Gottesman '77, a former Winthrop House resident who did in an accident in Colorado this past summer.
Gottesman, a Geology major who had taken a year off, would have been a senior this year. He died on July 27, while on a geological field drip, when a car he was riding in overturned.
At Tuesday's service five of Gottesman's former friends will offer recollection about his life. Rabbi Ben-Zion Gold will give a closing prayer.
The service, to be held at Memorial Church, will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
