Mayor Kevin H. White toasted seven "Grand Bostonians" with champagne and presented them with genuine Boston bricks and caricatures of themselves as part of an evening ceremony at the Parkman House in Boston last night.
In paying homage to the assembled guests that included five prominent Harvard alumni, White said, "Each is different--the paths they followed were their own.
