Tennis Team Falls To Princeton, 8-1

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Harvard tennis team traveled to Princeton's Jadwin gym last night with visions of reproducing last year's upset over the Tigers, but came away on the wrong end of an 8-1 tally.

The loss ended any hope the Crimson had for repeating as Eastern League champion, as it ensured the undefeated Tigers sole possession of the title.

The racquetmen crowned a 10-1 league performance last year with a 5-4 upset over Princeton at the Palmer Dixon courts. This year, through, the Tigers were ready, and they dropped Harvard's record to 4-2 in league competition.

No individual scores were available last night.
