Carolers Cheer Ill Mayor

By B. EVETTE Porter

Carolers from the Cambridge high school music department joined school board members and the superintendent of Cambridge schools yesterday in wishing Cambridge Mayor Alfred E. Vellucci a speedy exit from Cambridge City Hospital.

Vellucci is reportedly in fair and stable condition following the removal of a blood clot from the lung last week. He has been hospitalized since December 10.

"I'm feeling fine" Vellucci said yesterday. "I have several Harvard doctors taking care of me," he added.

In addition to yesterday's well-wishers, the mayor has received hundreds of cards and letters from his constituency.
