Official Talks About Study Of Resources

The chairman of the President's Council on Environmental Quality said last night the council is preparing a report that attempts "to project globally and regionally the populations and their food resources by the year 2000, and the earth's ability to accomodate those needs."

Charles H. Warren, speaking at an Institute of Politics study group at Leverett House, said the council will submit the report to President Carter for approval in May.

Worrying About Spaceship Earth

The council prepares guidelines for other federal agencies, prepares a report on the state of the environment, and makes recommendations regarding the environment to the president and Congress.
