Two directors of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Volunteers for Youth Program are working to expand Harvard's "Big Brother" program and will initiate a "Big Sister" program later this week.

The Harvard Youth Program, now in its third year of existence, attempts to provide positive role models for youths who need it and improve the self-image of junior high school students experiencing adolescent difficulties. The Harvard volunteers will also work to curb behavior patterns which can often lead to juvenile delinquency.

The directors, recent graduates of Stanford University, will hold an organizational meeting Thursday night for those student athletes interested in participating in the program.
