The cold breakfasts served at eight Houses under this year's limited breakfast plan will heat up a bit starting Monday, when dining halls will begin offering instant hot cereal and frozen toastable waffles.
Frank J. Weissbecker, director of Food Services, said yesterday the rest of the dining halls, which serve "modified" breakfasts, will now offer instant Cream of Wheat and instant oatmeal.
Individual syrup packets will be available for those eating "pop-up," waffles, Weissbecker added.
Leverett, Kirkland, Quincy and Currier will still be the only Houses offering full breakfasts, Weissbecker said. He added that his office has been considering the increased cold breakfast service for some time, and that student requests did not spark the decision.
