In response to numerous complaints from Quad and Mather House residents, shuttle bus service will be extended starting today, with an extra bus running during the three peak hours between 8:35 and 11:35 a.m., Anne M. Gregory of the Central Service Department of Buildings and Grounds said yesterday.
A new bus will also run between Dillon Field House and the Quad between 5:30 and 6:40 p.m. The exact schedule will be worked out today by the Freshman Dean's office, which also arranged the morning schedule.
The extra afternoon service was initiated in response to a petition signed by 53 South House residents, who claimed they are unable to get to the Quad in time for dinner after athletic practice, Gregory said.
