Unification Church

By William D. Swislow

Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church has returned to Harvard Square with fewer numbers than last year, but is still wining 15 to 20 converts a month, Aidan Barry, director of the Cambridge Unification Center, said yesterday.

The Church faced controversy last year when area press alleged it was recruiting students through a front organization, the International One World Crusade (IWOC). Today the headquarters at 38 Brattle St. in Harvard Square is identified by a sign in the door that says simply "Unification Center."
