Kuntsler Attacks Court

By Patricia C. Gadecki

William M. Kunstler, a well-known civil rights lawyer, spoke at Dudley House yesterday evening about the manipulation of American law by the Supreme Court and the naivite of the American people concerning civil rights issues.

"The tyrannical Supreme Court is basically under the control of five judges, four of whom were appointed by Nixon," Kunstler said. He said the Court has largely destroyed the Bill of Rights.

Kuntsler asserted that by sanctioning immunity, the court has destroyed the Fifth Amendment. "You can also be imprisoned without a trial," said Kunstler, adding that the Fourth Amendment has been negated with open search warrants.
