The Harvard Women's JV Soccer team lost the first game in its history yesterday at Soldier's Field to the Club Atlantic of Cambridge.

The JV booters trailed 3-0 at the half, and Club Atlantic kicked in three more goals during the second half to complete the shut out.

Coach Sandy Cardin cited the play of Lilly Lee, who played goalie for her first time ever. "She did very well despite the six goals," Cardin said after the game.

"If the women come out of practice more consistently, then I'm sure the talent we have can be developed to a point where we're competitive with other teams on our level," Cardin added.

The next JV game is against the same Club Atlantic next Wednesday.
