The freshman teams decimated squads from Phillips Academy at Andover yesterday.

The freshman skaters who cruised by Dartmouth 7-3 on Tuesday, handed an Andover varisty its second defeat yesterday afternoon with a 5-3 win at Watson Rink.

The Crimson unveiled the "Dunder to Diller connection," as Danny Dilorati in a "private victory" came back to haunt his alma mater, steering home a goal 2:47 into the third period to give the icemen a 4-2 cushion.

"The turning point of the game was Dilorati's goal," said Harvard defenseman Tim McBride, "It took the wind right out of their sails."

John Dunderdale crunched two first period slappers by Andover netminder J. Gregory Rosenthal. Andover's leading scorer Bill Army sandwiched a goal between Dunder's drives to close out the first period at 2-1.

Harvard skaters languished 22 minutes in the penalty box for thwacking the opposition. "Referees just give us penalties because we hit." said wing Murray Dea.

"After the physical second period, a lot of our players were actually wounded," said center Randy Millen. Mike Clasby was slashed under the eye while Dave Schuster also came away bloodied.

The freshman squash team remained undefeated, wreaking havoc on the laminated plywood at Andover with a 7-2 win over the host team.

Top two players Bob Blake and George Bell, who have yet to lose a match, both swept their opponents with "pretty much cut and dry" 3-0 wins.

After breezing past Cushing prep school 87-50 earlier this week, the freshman hoopsters crashed Fort Dezens 105-53 yesterday. Ray McGuire paved the way with 24 points while Bob Hooft clicked for 23 and guard Rich Bengal shoveled off 11 assists.
