The Radcliffe swim team last week elected junior Jane Hendricks and freshman Jane McNamara as co-captains for next year.
Hendricks, currently captain of the Radcliffe water polo team, swims backstroke and is from Livermore, Calif. A native of Fitchburg, Mass., McNamara's forte is the butterfly and longer freestyle events.
Under first-year coach Stephanie Johnson, the Radcliffe team faced strong Ivy League and regional competition this winter, winding up the season with a 2-5 record in dual meets. The squad finished tenth in New England and twelfth at the Easterns.
According to Coach Johnson, this year's captain Maureen Murphy did "a fantastic job."
