A strong Eliot House crew stroked by junior Rick Floyd handily won the House crew race held in a steady rain yesterday.

Lowell finished second while Adams just edged Winthrop for third over the long 1500 meter course. Mather finished fifth and Quincy, which was bumped by the Kirkland boat shortly after the start, placed sixth.

In the "B" boat competition, Lowell edged Eliot by a couple seats for the victory. Mather finished third.
