Elisabeth W. Mahnke '68 non resident tutor in lowell House has been chosen to be the new sentor tutor for Leverett House beginning next tall. Dean Whitlock said yesterday.
He said she has also been given a three year appointment as assistant professor of History.
Mahnke said yesterday that although she had not yet been notified about the appointment she would be "delighted" to accept the posts.
She said she has no plans now for her post as senior tutor "I have never held an administrative post before." She said.
Mahnke is currently a visiting lecturer on History at Mt. Holvoke College.
Her appointment completes the senior tutor selections for next year.
