Star hurier Peter Bannish led the freshman baseball team to a 13-5 victory over Andover, Bannish, who was the winning pitcher, helped his own cause by going three for four at bat. He also received assistance from Paul Halas who connected for a home run and captain Doug Morgan who went two for three with a double.
The freshman lacrosse team thumped Merrimack, 19-3, as Andy Kroner paced the attack with five goals. Steve Martin contributed four goals and Bob Mellon connected for three goals.
At Exeter, the freshman tennis first squad lost 6-3 while the second team won 5-4.
